I was born in Lyman, South Carolina, a town with good red dirt and easy access to Greer via the dual lane. My childhood was typical, and quite unremarkable except for a brief time as a geography prodigy in the seventh grade. Early on, I became interested in drawing, astronomy, magic, and puzzles. Later, after a circuitous journey that included the study of Art and Cognitive Psychology, I began devoting my time to writing, inventing, puzzle construction, and other creative endeavors. I now live in an undisclosed location in North Carolina, where I interact frequently with a human, Liz, and a canine, Cody.
